I Think it would probably be safe to say that the majority of issues that systems have are due to the way they were installed or even if it's not necessarily directly connected to that. A lot of folks will think that it's a problem with the brand or the manufacturer not realizing that it's the installation the person that installed it that caused a lot of the headaches that they're having.

    That is so so true. A customer had a unit changed out due to leaks on the connection parts. It was brazed but not pressure tested. The indoor unit was fine just the condenser was what I was asked to replace. So yes install may contribute to these failures. Service area Orleans??

    Some of that is true, but a lot of manufactures are making these units, cheaper and cheaper in order to make higher profits. They also know that the lifespan of these units do not last nearly as long as the older units did, and that is built-in, obsolescence and which is also some of the reasons theyโ€™re having issues with systems
